Mirabegron is a medication recently released for urinary urgency. It helps people who have an uncontrolled urge to pass urine and may help women who are troubled with an increased need to empty their bladders at night. It doesn’t have the side effects that many of the older medications have such as blurred vision, dry mouth and constipation. It can be a problem in patients with high blood pressure. This drug has been extensively trialled and essentially very well tolerated. Another step forward in the management of bladder problems.
