Finding the right and comfortable way to exercise is important but often difficult to do. Aqua aerobics either in a class or on your own can be a comfortable and safe way to remain active during your pregnancy

Benefits Include:

  • Provides support by reducing the effect of gravity on your body
  • Enables you to continue to be active even if you have pelvic discomfort
  • Can assist with circulation – reduce swelling

As with all exercise in pregnancy it is important to keep well hydrated while doing exercise & afterwards. Pool water temperature shouldn’t be higher than 32deg. There are many different places that offer aqua aerobics for pregnant women, such as community pools & gyms.
