The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (I.C.E.) have issued a new guideline on endometriosis. This is a common condition which affects 1 in 10 women. Sometimes diagnosis can be difficult. This condition mimics conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease, irritable bowel syndrome or even fibroids. Endometriosis is associated both with infertility and with pain.
