Gestational Diabetes and Induction of Labour
Recent evidence suggests that inducing labour in women who have gestational diabetes where the baby is seen to be very large is of value. This means that the baby can be delivered before it gets too big. This reduces the risk of birth trauma and does not increase the Caesarean section rate. Read more
